“The worst case scenario” has happened
Despite the cancellation of the auction, last April 9 in Laval, of puppies and purebred dogs from the breeding of Cossé-le-Vivien, in Mayenne, placed in judicial liquidation (see our previous article) , a large part of the animals was transferred to what Reha Hutin, president of the 30 Million Friends Foundation, describes as a "factory breeding" .
" It's the worst scenario that has been chosen by the authorities," she also declared on the Foundation's website.
The Tribunal de Grande Instance of Laval granted all 200 dogs to the breeding "Les Marais de Courmont" , located in Drosnay in the Marne. The structure can hold up to 800 animals and offers dogs from around thirty different breeds for sale!
" At the start, there were 300 dogs and puppies but 100 were deemed non-compliant, given their state of he alth or following administrative problems. They were handed over to the “30 Millions d&39;Amis” Foundation, which had requested them, failing to be entrusted with all 300 dogs since the auctioneers in charge of the sale had refused this proposal. Despite the many steps taken by 30 Millions d&39;Amis, the strong mobilization of 19 parliamentarians and approximately more than 50,000 Internet users who had joined Reha Hutin&39;s position, nothing could make the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Laval give way before the fateful date."
From one hell to another“It has been demonstrated that these animals are considered low merchandise. We do not see in them the living and sensitive being that they are, but the pecuniary value that they represent. It is shameful ! says Reha Hutin indignantly, who is worried about the future of these dogs." After staying in this 'factory breeding' authorized to keep more than 800 dogs and cats, we are a long way from family breeding! who will they be sold to? pet stores? other breeders? not to mention the breeding females of which we know what a sad fate awaits them »
Réha Hutin questions the consideration of animal welfare and regrets that all these animals are just going from one hell to another. Indeed, all these dogs from a breeding placed in compulsory liquidation were sold to a breeding placed under the blow of a procedure for accumulation of debts!
"It's grotesque but above all atrocious for these beings And animal welfare in all this?! Reha Hutin is indignant about this.
