Guylaine from Toutoupourlechien.com (TTPLC): Hugo, who are you?

Hugo Haab (HH): Originally from Lyon, I'm 23 years old and I'm in my 5th year as a veterinarian at the faculty of Cluj-Napoca in Romania. I am in a way, in reference to a youthful hero, a poor lonely cowboy far from home.

TTPLC: Why did you choose to become a veterinarian? And why did you choose to study abroad?

" HH: I think it was during my compulsory 4th grade internship at the College that the click happened. I shared the days of a passionate veterinarian, specialist in NAC (New Pets, editor&39;s note), who gave me a taste for the profession. Before leaving, he said to me: you are going to be a veterinarian. This sentence has remained as evidence. I did a year of preparatory class in Grenoble. I never understood why the selection is made in particular on mathematics rather than on biology or medicine. I did not succeed and yet the only job that interested me was a veterinarian. It was a combination of circumstances that led me to study in Cluj, in the English section. The university provides a diploma valid throughout the European Union."

TTPLC: Where does your passion for animals come from?

HH: I don't really know but I've always read a lot about animals. When I was little I wanted to learn all the names of animals by heart. I had the chance to discover Namibia and Kenya, two countries that make you want to know more. I then did internships and odd jobs in animal parks: Bird Park in Villars les Dombes, Crocodile Farm in the Drome.

TTPLC: Tell us about your YouTube channel

HH: While surfing the internet, I noticed that veterinary medicine was a subject very little discussed on YouTube, that something was missing, both for vet students and for pet owners . Moreover, I like to learn while having fun, which made me want to combine popularization, original image processing and sometimes humorous narration in my videos.

TTPLC: What do you plan to do after your studies?

HH: First gain experience in veterinary medicine and then put it at the service of my channel to be as close as possible to the concerns of animal owners. I will also try to specialize in internal medicine.

" Two Foxes, Hugo&39;s channel"

" Two Foxes is a Youtube channel with very serious information but which does not take itself seriously.Whether you work in a veterinary practice or are simply passionate about animals, you will learn a lot of things without seeming to. Run there and subscribe!"
